Will a TOBOR battery work with my existing solar setup?
In most cases, yes. HTX compact systems are designed to sit alongside rooftop solar: you keep your panels and inverter, and we add the battery and controller in line after checking your inverter at the site survey. No re-wiring of your rooftop array.
What happens during a power cut?
On an HTX compact system, your essential circuits switch to battery with a typical 20 ms bypass transfer — router, fridge, fans and computers ride through. The system reconnects to the grid when power returns. The portable Tobor Lite powers whatever you plug into it.
How long does the battery last?
HTX compact uses a 48 V LiFePO4 battery built for daily solar cycling. LFP doesn't degrade like the lead-acid inverter batteries you replace every 3 years; we confirm the rated cycle life for your configuration in the quote.
Can I afford this on EMI?
Yes. We partner with NBFCs offering 36–60 month EMI plans on residential TOBOR systems. Combined with PM Surya Ghar subsidy on the solar side, the effective monthly cost is often less than your current peak-hour electricity bill.
What about installation in apartments without rooftop access?
If you have your own rooftop or terrace, you can install solar + TOBOR battery. For shared-rooftop apartments, a single-module HTX compact (3 kW) can run as a load-shifting battery (charges off-peak grid, runs during peak hours) — savings are smaller (~30%) but still meaningful. For essentials-only backup, the portable Tobor Lite (2.4 / 3 / 4 kW) ships to your door.
